What is the location of the Research Biologist position?
This is a fully on-site position located in Madison, Wisconsin.
What qualifications are required for the Research Biologist role?
A Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related Life Science degree is required, along with 1-5 years of tissue culture/cell culture experience.
Is experience with LC-MS necessary for this position?

What types of biological samples will I be working with?
You will work with biological samples such as plasma, blood, urine, and feces from both animal and human sources.
What are the primary responsibilities of the Research Biologist?
Key responsibilities include performing wet chemistry techniques, maintaining and growing cell lines, seeding and harvesting cells, running extractions, and analyzing data collected from various assays.
Will I be working independently or as part of a team?
You will be part of the In Vitro Cell Culture team, working closely with the in-life team in a busy lab environment.
What kind of work environment can I expect?
You can expect a busy lab environment where the Metabolism-In-vitro team forecasts work 6-8 weeks ahead and is looking to potentially hire a contingent workforce during peak periods.
