Responsibilities

  • Merchandising stock, organising, preparing, pricing and presenting donations for sale, to increase sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage stock and communicate to the re-use manager what stock the shop needs delivering.
  • Operate the cash register, counting / reconciling cash and credit card receipts, processing returns and refunds.
  • Ensure goods are sold at appropriate value and all rejected items are disposed of appropriately.
  • Make certain that collections and deliveries are arranged in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Maintain the security of the shop premises, stock and cash.
  • You'll be expected to promote the values of the shop and the charitable nature of the re-use scheme.
  • At the same time as providing excellent customer experience to encourage repeat custom and the smooth and profitable running of the shop.
