  • Do Your Talents Include the Following?
  • Experience with or understanding of:
  • Identifying and assessing relevant risks in a business and developing and documenting adequate controls that mitigate risks.
  • Preparing, conducting, and detailing quarterly Risk Control Self-Assessments for relevant business areas.
  • Investigating operational risk events, producing concise summaries, and identifying remediation activities.
  • Supporting functions in assessing their risk profile and advising where risk controls are needed.
  • Supporting end-to-end management of ERM risk management including identifying, assessing, prioritizing, mitigating, monitoring, testing, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of risk management efforts.
  • Evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data.
  • Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network.
  • Ability to translate and communicate operational and enterprise risks to client personnel, including executives.
  • Supervisory experience of teams including mentoring, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.
  • Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (business, finance, risk management or a related field).
  • 5+ years working in regulatory compliance either in professional services or the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
  • Professional Certification such as Certified Operational Risk Professional (CORP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • As a Manager, you’ll partner with our clients to solve complex business problems and provide impactful advice and solutions. You’ll develop lasting relationships with client personnel and further these relationships through quality product delivery. You’ll foster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market. You will also be a mentor, trainer, and coach to Consultants and Senior Consultants as you facilitate the successful completion of project work plans. (FSI only): By focusing on clients and engagements in the financial services industry, you’ll partner with highly regulated clients and deepen your expertise in financial services regulations.
