Requirements

  • Work health and safety qualification at a certificate IV level or above
  • At least two years’ experience in a safety role, preferably within a self-insured environment
  • Ability to review and analyse data and provide written analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of technology to support business and delivery of role, specifically in a Windows based environment
  • Knowledge of SA WHS Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice

Responsibilities

  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports, maintain data and statistics regarding activities, opportunities and trends, ensuring reports are prepared and distributed in a timely manner
  • Assist in the monitoring of legislative change and review and assist in updating impacted health and safety systems
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of Viterra’s health and safety management system and act as back-up for the Safety systems advisor
  • Engage with other members of the health and safety team and the wider business on changes to the management system
  • Support other functions within the team during periods of absence
