Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Proven ability to work independently and learn quickly

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to internal personnel regarding corporate purchasing policies, documentation requirements, etc including maintaining Purchase Orders.
  • Support the administration of vendor profiles in our ERP including review of related tax, banking and other documentation; review and respond thoroughly and timely to vendor inquiries concerning payments or other matters.
  • Monitor, review and process vendor invoices timely and accurately.
  • Ensures payments are made accurately and timely.
  • Provide support related to the corporate credit card program, audit of employee expense reports and responding to related inquiries.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly general ledger account reconciliations for Accounts Payable related balance sheet accounts.
  • Collaborate with IT on Finance system testing and operating issues.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Record journal entries, analyze data, and generate reports within the GL, AP and Expense system in addition to the Treasury administration systems, and related databases.
  • Perform independent research and analysis to troubleshoot and problem solve as needed.
  • Create and maintain accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Support and/or lead finance initiatives and special projects.
  • Interact with other areas of the company and vendors to build collaborative relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
