Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of financial markets (banking, settlement characteristics, investment terminology, etc.) is required.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and continually prioritize tasks. Must demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Skill in problem solving and identifying/implementing process improvements
  • Must possess ability to make sound business decisions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel with strong analytical skills; experience with FIS Integrity treasury management system, Fiserv BRMEdge and/or PeopleSoft is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze daily bank balances and activities to determine liquidity requirements and set cash positions that align with targets. Manage funding of all operating accounts and ensure all operating accounts are sufficiently funded Manage funding of all operating accounts and ensure all operating accounts are sufficiently funded Manage funding of operating accounts to ensure sufficient cash levels
  • Provide support to enterprise-wide corporate liquidity function including ad hoc analysis and preparation of forecasts as needed
  • Monitor daily bank activity; reconcile and resolve unexpected cashflows and liase with banks and middle office teams to address settlement issues. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to system or bank feeds, and/or system outages, wire settlement failures or other issues
  • Initiate Fedwire and ACH transactions. Coordinate and track intercompany or intersegment loans
  • Serve as key owner of treasury management system (FIS Integrity)
  • Oversee day-to-day system performance, configuration and resolution of job failures or other issues. Coordinate with development teams on new or changing interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and/or training materials for all related processes. Conduct training as needed.
  • Coordinate with bank reconciliation teams to research and resolve cash related issues; prepare journal entries as needed.
  • Serve as administrator for banking platforms.
  • Assist with the planning of and participate in periodic business continuity/disaster recovery exercises.
  • Maintain and monitor procedural documentation.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
