Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support the transformation efforts as we continue to evolve and enhance Glencore's compliance program within the Oil Dept. (marketing and assets) in response to the Monitor’s recommendations (and any other change projects occurring within Compliance in the Oil Division).
  • Ensuing that all enhancement / implementation initiatives are in full alignment with strategic objectives set by the Corporate Compliance team.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, personnel and project teams across the Oil division (London, Americas, Asia Pacific), including senior Oil Assets and Marketing management, compliance, legal, and business units, to garner support and alignment for compliance transformation initiatives, embracing and embedding change/enhancement through coordinating communications, training, user testing and changes to compliance and business processes and procedures.
  • Prepare a comprehensive project plan ‘actions tracker’ to record, monitor and track all Monitor related workstreams and actions and take responsibility for keeping this up to date.
  • Project update and presentations / slide decks (including for senior business stakeholders) showing changes, milestones, ongoing activities, and deliverables.
  • Actively monitor /track pending actions to help identify and escalate problems or roadblocks.
  • ensure coordination between Oil Compliance and Group Compliance, support in the development, review, and enhancement of compliance policies, procedures, and controls (where appropriate), ensuring they are responsive to the Monitor recommendations.
  • acting as a liaison between Oil Compliance and Corporate Compliance and Monitor Liaison Team.
  • Collaborate with the oil compliance personnel to develop reports on Risk Assessment results, coordinating efforts between the regional and corporate teams on this topic.
  • Collaborate with Group Compliance, develop and implement communication strategies to effectively communicate compliance enhancement initiatives, progress, and impacts to all stakeholders across Oil department.
  • Collect audit trail to ensure we can evidence all actions designed to address Monitor recommendations.
  • Support in the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs and awareness campaigns on compliance topics to educate employees on new processes whilst fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.
  • Establish robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track project delivery and ultimately the effectiveness of Glencore's compliance program, providing regular updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders (in Baar and London).
  • Support in the development and maintenance of the reporting tools e.g. Qliksense / Power BI, CGR Modules, Regional Compliance Action Plan, Resource Assessment, CGR Reports etc.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and cross collaboration within the compliance function, regularly evaluating and enhancing processes, controls, and procedures to adapt to evolving risks and challenges.
