  • Qualifications:
  • The successful candidate will have an associate degree (or higher) in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or related field AND at least 8 years of relevant experience; OR, if no degree, must have at least 10 years of relevant architectural and CAD design experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
  • Experience setting up projects in Revit and other CAD/BIM software, including multiple-phase projects.
  • Experience using CAD/BIM software, including Revit, to prepare architectural design documents including details, imagery, technical drawings and presentations
  • Experience with analysis, preparation and/or modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and/or designs for projects
  • Experience sharing CAD/BIM software best practices and staying current on all software updates
  • LEED AP, WELL AP or other sustainable/resilient design credentials

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include serving as the main point of contact for all CAD -related tasks on assigned projects, establishing and updating project file setups with CAD for the full design team, creating CAD project execution plans for a full design process, establishing Revit and CAD models in BIM360 or other collaborative workspaces, working with subconsultants to provide the correct files/formatting for projects, performing quality control reviews on CAD elements of projects at appropriate milestones, producing design and construction drawings and documentation; developing technical construction documents and details in a team environment; coordinating with discipline leads in architecture, interiors, and engineering; and producing project imagery for use in documents and presentations. Limited travel may be required.
