Responsibilities

  • Your daily adventures will include:
  • P&L Management - Oversee country P&L delivery against set KPIs.
  • Strategy - Leading the country’s strategic and annual business planning process and being responsible for its implementation. Identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities on a local level that may impact the business with plans to leverage on the opportunities / mitigate the risks. Support the regional peers and the Regional Director in setting up the yearly strategy and the critical programs. Attend monthly, quarterly and yearly decision-making sessions alongside Regional Managers and Regional Directors. On an ad hoc basis, represent the RD in key programs or meetings.
  • Operations - Oversee local operations and finances to make sure we are creating the highest possible impact with our investments and maintaining operational efficiency. Designing in-market expansion strategies for ride-hailing services and features.
  • People Leadership - Leading and developing teams with excellent strategic thinking, integrity, knowledge, team engagement and growth. Building high performing teams with solid succession planning in the country. Always striving to become a better leader for their team while promoting Bolt’s Culture.
  • Stakeholder Management - Advise and closely collaborate with HQ teams such as Product, Legal, FP&A or Marketing to develop and execute key initiatives that drive growth and efficiency.
  • Public Relations & Government Relationships (GR) - Be the face and voice of Bolt within the country. Take an active part in the definition and the implementation of Bolt’s GR strategy in the country (national and city levels).
  • Business Development - Assist the Corporate Development Team in identifying strategic deals possibilities. Once the deal is complete, operationalise the deal.
