  • Strong computer skills (i.e. spreadsheet and word processing).

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and leadership on projects and for staff, including conducting technical reviews of calculations and analyses, as well as performing technical analyses where appropriate.
  • Provide guidance, and where necessary, support in coordination, preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, client reports, progress reports, project scheduling / resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets on projects.
  • Scoping projects and assisting in the preparation of proposals.
  • Support mentoring, coaching, and training of staff.
  • Help promote Thurber mission, vision, and values amongst Thurber staff.
  • Work with the Branch Manager in the development of new business opportunities.
  • Establishing, developing, promoting and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Active participation in the field on a project specific basis as dictated by the needs of the project to meet client expectations and project objectives.
  • Manage projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Travel to project locations, as well as to Client offices and other Thurber Branch offices.
