  • Serve as a key subject matter expert and advisor on EU privacy and data protection issues.
  • Partner with product, business, compliance, and other legal teams to proactively address regulatory guidance and issues and drive high-impact projects.
  • Coordinate with U.S.-based lawyers to advise business and product teams in a unified manner.
  • Scale privacy knowledge across the department through trainings and development of resources.
  • Collaborate with Compliance colleagues and the Global Privacy Office to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise in new and evolving areas of global privacy law and policy.
  • Advise on new and emerging legal and regulatory developments impacting data privacy and data security, including identifying trends and potential impacts on business activities.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of PayPal’s core business and strong relationships with business counterparts to drive the delivery of effective legal services.
