Responsibilities

  • Driving our activities around developing, training, and using machine learning models, e.g. for chemical property prediction, reaction optimization, material development, and related applications.
  • Working collaboratively with other researchers and engineers to identify valuable approaches to apply these models.
  • Researching best practices to improve these models and deploy them for internal use or help developing them into customer-facing products.
  • Performing technological outlook in the field of digital and AI to transfer innovative methods and models into the company.
  • Separating the hype from the substance and supporting our colleagues in all our business sectors – Life Science, Healthcare, and Electronics – understanding and utilizing the value of innovative approaches for their daily work and as part of new products.
