Responsibilities

  • Perform Plumbing and Fire Suppression load calculations.
  • Select equipment such as Pumps, water heaters, interceptors, compressors etc.
  • Size and layout piping systems.
  • Layout equipment rooms with proper clearance and access.
  • Design and draft details, sections, etc.
  • Perform Plumbing and NFPA code evaluations for project.
  • Confer with project team members and other engineering personnel and prepare design modifications as required.
  • Survey existing conditions and perform field reviews, investigations, processing of submittals during construction phase.
  • Stay up to date on state-of-the-art design through independent reading, attend of seminars and continuing education.
  • Attend seminars and continuing education programs. Participate in design, analysis and documentation training.
  • Mentor junior staff.
  • Travel for presentations, client meetings, etc.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
