Responsibilities

  • Drive & own E2E program planning and execution including program P&L margins; ensure high customer satisfaction for programs delivered; oversee talent management for program management employees and ensure high employee satisfaction
  • Drive end-to-end planning (from Program award to Program end of life) and execution of all programs for assigned customer(s)
  • Drive global program P&L for the assigned customer group including above market margin growth for all programs leveraging relevant products & services
  • Define and execute global program strategy for assigned customers leveraging program management targets set by Region MDs and coordinating planning and execution with sales, Regional Mfg., S.C., and Quality Lead, and engineering teams
  • Manage implementation and iteration for assigned customer groups and coordinate roll out with Product org, Service org, and Regional Eng. team
  • Own program lifecycle for assigned customer groups (from Program award to Program end of life)
  • Work closely with Engineering Program Leaders (EPLs) to manage overall program budget and timeline
  • Drive / coordinate material improvement initiatives to improve financial metrics together with engineering and CPO team
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and ensure timely and quality resolution of all customer escalations and complaints through Flawless Launch
  • Work with Customer Sales Lead to ensure adherence to contract throughout program delivery
  • Oversee program / project management workforce planning and staffing process to adequately support program teams for assigned customer groups
  • Develop technical product solutions aligned to customer requirements in the areas of product performance, quality, timing and cost.
  • Lead new business pursuits for next-generation automotive products.
  • End to End technical ownership of product hardware and software solutions for quotations and new business pursuits
  • Develop and leverage key relationships to support timely quotations to customers
  • Be the voice of the APTIV engineering team in front of the customer and the voice of the customer to the APTIV engineering team.
  • Follow internal APTIV procedures to meet internal and customer quote milestones
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple partners internally and externally including overall quote strategy
  • Create and document engineering resource and cost estimates (BOM) for new business execution.
  • Lead the Engineering Quote Reviews through the pursuits process.
  • Support Business Management and Finance during the development of the business case.
  • Participate in Product Strategy and Architecture planning and support product roadmap development
  • Own planning of customer specific product roadmap during the sourcing phase, working in direct contact with the GPO Technical Manager and Product Design Team
  • Track performance against KPIs and iterate to meet KPIs
  • Map out product dependencies & the most efficient sequencing of product development
  • Work with the team leaders, engineering managers, and other stakeholders to meet customer product design needs driving design solution compatible to APTIV internal product roadmap
  • Maintain positive employee and team experiences by creating an environment that facilitates positive team health as well as provide guidance and management to all workers to ensure goals are met
  • Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
