Requirements

  • 8 years total of related experience, of which at least 4 years should be in large/regional airfield design/construction including the knowledge of airfield and FAA regulations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License
  • Existing relationships with strategic clients a plus.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • AutoCAD and Civil3D experience
  • Skills to effectively lead and work in large and small multidisciplinary team environments.
  • Ability to set deadlines, assign resources, monitor/summarize project progress
  • Utilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.
  • Communicate incidents, accidents, near misses, potential hazards, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor or the Health and Safety Department as soon as identified.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include administration of consultant/sub-consultant agreements, resolving critical issues/policy matters and presenting new concepts. The Sr. Project Engineer oversees and/or coordinates project staff and maintenance of group utilization numbers as they relate to projects & timelines. Opportunities exist to lead/support other projects in offices across the country.
