Responsibilities

  • Serves as a subject matter expert: You’ll use your intricate knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws and governing regulations, including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, FLSA, HIPAA, and State leave requirements to manage WK leave programs.
  • Manage compliance of company leave policies and processes: You’ll continuously analyze and recommend revisions to company leave policies including union plans to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and compliance; in coordination with the Company’s TPA, internal teams and focus on enhanced employee experience.
  • Develop and maintain Analytic tools: You’ll act strategically and conduct analysis of data including but not limited to, leave and disability trends by employee type and location, abuse remediation, policy impacts, payroll leave audits and the need for procedural changes.
  • Act as point of contact for vendor partners: You’ll own vendor relations, service performance, and ensure implementation of vendors new services/capabilities.
  • Design, implement and manage leave programs: You’ll be focused on managing leave programs and processes using a make it better mindset. This includes the development and harmonization of programs, plans and processes within the U.S. including union and non-union leaves.
  • Engages in regular case review and accommodation process sessions: You’ll work with key partners including Ethics & Compliance, Legal and HR Leaders to identify and execute strategies for resolution. You will act as the escalation point of contact for complex cases.
  • Provide Oversight: You’ll support the HR generalist who administer leave requests and the payroll department regarding state leave payroll deductions and paid leave programs.
