Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in Technical Support/Networking Environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Intune configuration and troubleshooting experience, as well as experience in Modern Workplace systems such as Azure/Intune and Co-Management.
  • Participated in creating Security Policy, Device Compliance, Conditional Policies, Autopilot, Troubleshooting Modern Device Management (MDM) issues.
  • The ability to provide recommendations around SCCM vs. Intune and/or hybrid implementations, Windows Update for business.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting, SQL Queries, reporting and basic troubleshooting with Conditional Access Policies management in Intune.
  • Expertise in Window In place Upgrades (IPU) & OSD, app Patch management experience leveraging inputs from Desktop analytics and endpoint Analytics.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot day to day operations, performing monitor and tuning system performance, and providing administration, configuration, installation, deployment and maintenance.
  • Demonstrable experience understanding security for both private and public cloud environments.
  • Experience using one, or more, of the major market-leading vulnerability management solutions such as Rapid 7, Qualys or Tenable.
  • Exposure and/or experience using container scanning systems such as Sysdig or Twistlock.
  • Hands on management of endpoint solutions from one of the leading suppliers such as Microsoft Endpoint, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black or TANIUM.
  • A firm understanding of, and experience with, DevOps, SRE and SDLC methods, tooling, processes, procedures and the security needs around them.
  • Proven knowledge of “Full Stack” cloud development and common cloud architectures.
  • In depth operating system experience including Windows Server, CentOS/RedHat and Debian/Ubuntu.
  • A definite understanding of PKI & encryption technology, especially SSL/TLS.

  • Knowledge and proficiency in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and related technologies.
  • Microsoft Teams rooms device management.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing and executing tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) environment to support modern desktop management co-management with Intune.
  • Assisting and improving processes related with day-to-day SCCM service delivery, as well as providing support the recommendations around SCCM vs. Intune and/or hybrid implementations.
  • Administrating Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), deploying Microsoft patches and creating custom deployment packages.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of Intune / Azure mobile device management with SCCM and Office 365 / Exchange hybrid environments.
  • Patch Management using SCCM for end user machines as well as Infrastructure Servers.
  • Package creation, deployment and reporting.
  • Creating Security Policy, Device Compliance, Troubleshooting Modern Device Management (MDM) issues in Intune.
  • Obtaining product specific knowledge of the firm’s key products and develop an understanding of how the underlying components are structured and how potential vulnerabilities may affect the platform.
  • Working with threat intel and analysis tools and vendors to identify, automate, manage and prioritize continually changing threats.
  • Performing day-to-day monitoring of private and public cloud, VM and container, vulnerability management systems and scans ensuring accuracy and data integration into the SIEM.
  • Deploying, managing, and maintaining all endpoint related TVM systems including asset & service scanning, vulnerability management and EDR.
  • Reviewing scans and performing threat analysis of detected vulnerabilities then work with other teams and management to prioritize accordingly.
  • Collaborating with asset owners and the business for timely remediation of threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Customizing reports on assessment findings and summarizing to facilitate remediation tasks for various teams.
  • Building and maintaining TVM SLA & KPI tracking tools to ensure team and company compliance.
  • Assisting team with shared administration and management tasks.
  • Interfacing with infrastructure and other teams throughout the organization with the objective to provide high quality and low friction, security operations services.
  • Preparing and documenting standard operating procedures.
