Main Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide subject matter expertise in MRI design and development.</li><li>Perform systems engineering and integration for the design, development, testing, and certification of MRI equipment.</li><li>Stay abreast with existing and emerging technologies, best practices and lessons learned, skillset requirements and implementation options for our technology.</li><li>Understand the schedule, cost, and performance implications of hardware engineering cycles.</li><li>Lead a small group of engineers and technicians in designing and prototyping our MRI systems.</li><li>Provide hands-on system support for MRI prototype testing, iteration, and development.</li><li>You will be responsible for the success of multiple projects, including product design and transferring into production.</li></ul>Minimum Qualification:<ul><li>Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Applied Mathematics or closely related field with at least 5 years of relevant R&amp;D lab experience in conceiving, planning, and conducting research and analysis for complex technological problems.</li><li>At least 2 years of experience leading a team providing support in hardware engineering and integration.</li><li>Able to interpret technical documentation and schematics (electrical, wiring, and mechanical drawings).</li><li>Core fundamentals of math &amp; sciences: mechanics, electronics, basic electromagnetic theory, etc.</li><li>Creative and resourceful.</li><li>Excellent writing and presentation skills.&nbsp;</li></ul>Desired Experience:<ul><li>Experience providing rapid prototyping or development, specifically for hardware components.</li><li>Experience performing test and evaluation activities, especially hardware elements/ factors.</li><li>Prior experience with medical imaging processing and analysis in a scientific setting.</li><li>Prior experience with signal processing and/or MR imaging physics.</li><li>Preferred experience with RF analog hardware (preamplifiers, electromagnetic coils, RF shielding, etc.)</li></ul>

Masters
