Responsibilities

  • Manages medium to large or multiple groups of (5-6) Project managers/ Scrum Leads, who are the primary contact for clients and groups within the organization for large scale programs.
  • Responsible for the direction and control of Program and Project Management within the firm.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the projects being managed.
  • Takes hands-on approach for the end to end program management activities such as program reporting, planning, issue/ risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other program documentation preparation.
  • Ensure that technical projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Manages communication with the business at a detailed functional level and discusses/resolves issues.
  • Manages client expectations and ensures project delivery is in conformance with Program/Project Best Practices methodologies and standards.
  • Serves as a liaison between clients and internal technical groups to ensure delivery of medium to large scale projects on time, within budget, and is in conformance with company methodologies and standards.
  • Manages communication with the business at a detailed functional level and discusses/resolves issues.
  • Conducts status meetings and facilitates risk mitigation and resolution of more complex issues.
  • Directs, recruits, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Contributes to and responsible for multiple teams goals & objectives.
  • Recommends enhancements to project management tools / techniques and company methodologies.
