What is the primary responsibility of the Sr. Employee Relations Consultant?
The primary responsibility of the Sr. Employee Relations Consultant is to mitigate risk for the organization and provide support to people leaders by counseling and guiding them through complex employee issues, while fostering a positive employee experience.
What are the core competencies required for this position?
Core competencies include exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong listening abilities, conflict resolution, negotiation and mediation skills, and the ability to write and speak concisely, compassionately, and persuasively.
What kind of experience is required for this role?
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, counseling, social work, law, or a reasonably comparable field is required for this position.
Is a specific level of education required for this position?
Yes, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required, while a Master's Degree or J.D. is preferred.

You will be addressing various employee issues including investigations, corrective action, coaching and counseling for people leaders, leaves of absence, accommodations, and ensuring HR policy adherence.

What is the salary range for this position?
The pay range for this position is $59,810.60 - $129,589.63 annually, with actual compensation potentially varying based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

This role contributes to the overall employee experience by promoting a positive work environment and yielding fair and equitable solutions for employees, as well as utilizing Employee Engagement Survey results to create improvement strategies within client groups.

You will partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Legal, Compliance, and other key stakeholders as appropriate when addressing complex employee relations projects or initiatives.
