Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements long-term strategies for property management and capital maintenance projects to align with organizational goals. Directs and manages End of Life strategies for major asset classes of refrigeration, HVAC, roofing and asphalt.
  • Lead the end-to-end project management process, from project initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to best practices, methodologies and project management standards.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
  • Develop educational programs in maintaining facilities and equipment with goal of extending the useful life of all assets and collaborate with Walmart International and global partners on best practices.
  • Oversees all Facilities and Logistics design, construction and capital renovation projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, deficiency walkthroughs and quality control.
  • Manage and ensure continuous improvement programs are in place providing annual updates to preventative maintenance programs and asset registries.
  • Ensure that property, building and equipment preventive maintenance programs are effectively managed and executed to remain in full compliance with corporate policies and applicable industry and regulatory quality, occupancy, health and safety standards.
