  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 5 years’ of experience working as a Strategic Account Manager or comparable role in a forward order wholesale business, with a proven track record of high achievements
  • Experience of working in a B2B environment, managing quarterly go to market business processes with internal and external teams
  • Experience of working with product and design teams to drive account relevant assortment (SMU input)
  • Demonstrated successful track record and progression in a commercial or business environment.
  • Working within strict deadlines and able to be adaptive to changes.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Computer literacy (Mircosoft suite) including excellent Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Flexible approach and willingness to further learn & adapt in a fast pace growing business.
  • PowerPoint presentation skills and the ability to deliver strong presentations (1:1 and groups)
  • Strategic, understands retail math, analytical and financially astute.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage strong relationships with JD Sports retail wholesale partner to strengthen existing partnership and deliver a first class service level
  • Deliver the agreed metrics, including annual sales and profit for Under Armour, in line with the regional and global strategy.
  • Ability to think strategically - proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, segmentation and differentiation for one and five years in line with UA global strategy
  • Oversee end-to-end sales process (e.g., sell-in, sell-out, assortment selection, order entry/reconciliation, excellent in-season orderbook management and identify additional stock opportunities / replenishment)
  • Demonstrates an excellent understanding of the intersection between Under Armour and JD Sports target consumer to optimize brand positioning in the market on an ongoing basis
  • Lead process evaluation whilst supporting internal product teams to help inform and drive strategy to unlock future opportunities
  • Pro-actively communicate business results and overcome barriers to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure excellent physical space management and implementation of directed assortments.
  • Establish and maintain a strong internal communication and relationships with cross-functional teams, including senior management, to help inform and drive strategy and future opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge and passion of the Sport and the Sports Industry (customer profiles, competitors, and market trends) - frequent retail market walks
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
