What is the main focus of the Student Opportunities Coordinator role?
The main focus is to encourage and support students in participating in work experience programs, particularly the Year in Employment, and to influence student engagement across various target areas.
What specific responsibilities will the Student Opportunities Coordinator have?
The coordinator will support students throughout their placement journey, including pre-placement applications, approvals, onboarding, placement visits and check-ins, and administrative support for academic assessments.
Are there any specific skills required for this position?
Yes, strong customer relationship management skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and prioritization and workload management skills are essential. Experience in marketing and communications is desirable, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
