Responsibilities

  • Functional understanding and experience of SAP Recipes and Bills of Materials
  • Identify business processes best suited to meet customer and operational requirements in highly complex manufacturing environments
  • Lead process reviews including mapping, impact and gap assessments to S4H template
  • Lead testing and training.
  • Develop a complete understanding of Global Process Design configurations in your sub-stream area.
  • Work with business resources across region to identify changes between current process and Global Process Design
  • Identify and share with Global Process Excellence team any opportunities in which Global Process Design may need to be enhanced to support local or specific business unit requirements.
  • Work with business resources to ensure mitigation plans exist where required when Global Process Design differs from current practice
  • Develop a complete understanding of Global Process Design configurations in your sub-stream area.
  • Work with business resources across region to identify changes between current process and Global Process Design
  • Support deployment activities with on-site support of launch.
  • Assist in data cleansing, data review, and dual maintenance activities as needed for data objects like recipes, boms, production versions materials, production master data etc.
  • Train Super Users to serve as trainers to rest of user population.
  • Actively participate in testing cycles
  • Implement and maintain company policies and procedures.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Perform role in accordance with PPG corporate values.
  • Achieve goals according to annual / quarterly department plans
