Requirements

  • Have NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Care or other similar relevant qualification, or are willing to work towards a Care Certificate.
  • Will provide practical assistance for example in relation to personal tasks.
  • Will give personal and emotional support to promote clients’ health and well being, keeping people safe from harm and protecting their possessions.
  • Will enable people to lead full lives by providing support and assistance in leisure activities, both within services and in the local area.
  • Will encourage people to provide feedback about the support they receive to help services to improve.

Responsibilities

  • - Supporting guests both emotionally and physically in their daily lives and at times when they may be distressed or display behaviours that challenge.
  • - Supporting guests overnight to ensure they are safe and their wellbeing is looked after giving medication, performing night checks, making drinks and snacks if required.
  • - Performing security checks and cleaning roles to uphold high standard of cleanliness ensuring the building is safe for guests.
