Responsibilities

  • Assists with survey related technology operations including, but not limited to the following hardware technology:
  • Assists with survey related technology operations including, but not limited to the following software technology:
  • Operates survey instruments and equipment for a wide and diverse range of projects such as topographic, ALTA, boundary, construction, GIS, etc.
  • Locates and determines geographic features by measuring and calculating points, elevations, lines, angles, areas, and contours; contributing information to and from software and hardware used by the B&W Survey Department.
  • Assists the party chief/project surveyor and field crew with recording surveys by preparing notes, records, drawings, and applicable field equipment/hardware and software systems.
  • Completes projects in a timely, efficient and effective manner within deadlines and budgets.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
