Responsibilities

  • An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our RF Seekers Team within the Seekers and Datalink Systems Department, based at our site in Stevenage.
  • The Systems Design team is critical to the product development process, transforming customer requirements into lower level system architectures (Physical and Functional) and system requirements.
  • The role covers the majority of the Systems Engineering V model, negotiating requirements with the missile systems customer through to the verification and validation process; you will gain a detailed understanding of RF Seeker design as well as building experience working with capable teams across all development activities.
  • You will be part of a close-knit, hardworking, and highly motivated team striving to develop one of the world's most advanced Seeker and Missile technologies.
  • You will play a crucial role in this innovative development, witnessing the impact of your dedication and effort as the product is effectively deployed for use by the armed forces.
  • There will be opportunities for travel both within the UK and internationally to other MBDA sites and trial locations.
