Description

  • The Talent Associate will report to the Talent Manager and primarily assist with all aspects of candidate attraction, recruitment and Learning & Development for Flex Trainee. In time, the Talent Assistant will also assist with Talent responsibilities in relation to On Demand Paralegals & Lawyers.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment:
  • Assist with all stages of candidate hiring for Flex Trainee scheme; including, reviewing and assessing applications, decisions on progression, rejecting unsuccessful candidates, interviews, Assessment Centres, offers
  • Review and respond to applications promptly, creating positive first impression of Flex
  • Research social mobility initiatives to inform future partnerships
  • Ensure recruitment management platforms, such as recruitee, have accurate record-keeping
  • Assist with Identifying and recruiting candidates for atypical trainee roles or On Demand roles requiring specific skills/experience
  • Candidate Assessment:
  • Develop and maintain interview materials
  • Interview candidates via Zoom and in person
  • Assist with the planning, execution and review of trainee Assessment Centres
  • Contribute to reviewing and changing candidate screening tools
  • Talent Strategy:
  • Assist in the implementation of hiring strategy for candidates for On Demand and Flex Trainee; set, track and report on appropriate targets
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality of the candidate pool and adapt sourcing approach accordingly
  • In conjunction with Marketing team, participate in law fairs and other recruitment events;
  • Develop and maintain candidate recruitment materials and presentations
  • Operations:
  • Work to ensure we are maximising the opportunities with the portal
  • Successfully onboard appropriate candidates; ensure candidate profiles are fully completed on Portal to enable effective searching and matching
  • Respond quickly and effectively to communications from candidates through SalesForce
  • Resolve issues with the application/screening/onboarding process and solve problems proactively to maintain good relationships with candidates
  • Trainee Placement:
  • Work closely with Talent Manager on matching Flex Trainees to Flex Trainee clients
  • Assist on client calls or visits to ensure accurate trainee job descriptions are created
  • Support Talent Manager with client proposals for Flex Trainees
  • Learning & Development:
  • Assist on all aspects of the Flex Trainee ‘readiness programmes’; oversee efforts to secure participation from facilitators, presenters and buddies
  • Research and execute on-going Learning & Development training plan for all Flex TraineesLead on all aspects of any other pre-placement training for Flexers
  • Assist to measure success of readiness programme and ongoing training programmes and be able to demonstrate ROI
  • Contribute to L&D strategy
