Responsibilities

  • Act as a key technical contact between Customer Technical and Dunbia Departments, managing information relating to food safety, quality and legality together with customer brand standards, technical business plans and associated projects etc.
  • Manage all relevant raw material, product specifications and Quality Attribute Sheets for related products;
  • Working as part of a customer facing team with commercial and NPD contacts with a view to customer account development;
  • Liaison between all relevant departments within the business to ensure that customer requirements are communicated and being adhered to;
  • Management and communication of relevant technical KPIs to Dunbia and the relevant customers
  • Management and communication of relevant technical business plans and relevant technical projects;
  • Utilisation and control of data on relevant customer information management systems, will include but not limited to shelf-life, raw material specs, relevant risk assessments and other due diligence information
  • Conduct product checks and inspections and report accordingly to ensure any product produced adheres to customer specification;
  • Deal with any non-conformances and work with management to initiate the appropriate corrective actions;
  • Review artwork in advance of products launches to ensure that labels are complete, accurate, legal, meeting customer, technical and operational requirements;
  • Liaise with NPD to assist with product presentations to customer / product development approval, production handovers and product launches;
  • Maintain and update relevant retail price lists & communicate such to the business
  • Participate in site Allergen Management Programme ensuring that raw materials are in line with customer, Dunbia and legal requirements together with the risk assessments and record keeping thereof;
  • Collect and analyse data on relevant key performance indicators such as, customer complaints, store complaints, sales together with management of complaints reduction programme with site management and report accordingly;
  • Other associated technical duties.
