Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical Excellence: Working with our Technical Excellence Director and other Technical Heads, act as the focal point for technical performance in Process Engineering, setting standards and ensuring best practices are shared across teams. Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives with regional Leads and take an active role in industry events and recruitment fairs.
  • Support Project Resourcing and Development: Collaborate with Operational Directors to align resources on projects, manage succession planning, and support hiring. Identify training needs and ensure technical career development plans are identified for team members.
  • Ensure Quality Delivery: Provide technical oversight on complex projects through engineering reviews (HAZOP, SWIFT, ALM), maintaining AECOM’s high standards. Set and manage quality standards and templates to ensure consistent delivery across all water projects.
  • Connect in our Global Technical Practice Groups: Establish relationships with a global group of technical peers, enabling two-way sharing of best practice, development of innovations and expanding career paths for our teams.
