Responsibilities

  • Manage Terminal Operations / Ex Rack purchase location:
  • Manage 3rd Party Terminal Contract as Contract User & Interface with Terminal Service Providers.
  • Engage with Terminal team where support needed on operational matters - such as – additive receipts and dispatch, early loading or late loading requirements, Sunday or holiday operations and any gantry related issues which need immediate resolution.
  • Coordinate with Road Transport Logistics and Scheduling team to ensure deliveries are loaded and delivered to customers with correct quantity and quality at the right time,
  • Ensure adherence to SOP and safe truck loading operations at 3rd Party Terminals/ Ex Rack purchase locations. Ensure compliance by 3rd Party Terminal company as per Shell assurance requirement.
  • Lead process improvement implementation i.e. bring improvement in Tanker Truck Gate to Gate timing for all loading terminals.
  • Lead in site continuous plan and projects to improve operational excellence and reduce storage and handling costs.
  • Participate in Contract Performance Review as contract user. Lead monthly HSSE meetings with Outside Supply Point partner.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships with stakeholders (terminal team, Road Transport Logistic Team (RT), Order Scheduling Team (OTD), surveyor team, authorities, etc.)
  • Manage the additive dosing process at Terminals.
  • Manage the Surveyors team and activity to ensure delivery of correct Quality & Quantity for each truck.
  • Support in evaluating new Ex Rack purchase locations before commencement of operations.
  • Provide support and oversee Ship-To-Shore operation during vessel receipt.
  • Stock Reconciliation for Fuel and Additives stocks.
  • Source and manage the consumables required for smooth operations at Terminal locations.
  • MIS – Maintain & provide all local level MIS for Ops.
  • Support in sustaining Safety standards at Terminals. Promptly report incidents and register Near Miss in Shell reporting tool on regular basis.
  • Use e – MOC (Management of Change) process and ensure that it is being followed for any changes at respective Terminals.
  • Conduct assurance checks on Terminal processes (Product Quality, Management of change, Inspection and Maintenance, Operational controls, Additivisation Activity).
  • Follow Process Safety fundamentals and share with Terminal staff.
  • Ensure site ERP system is always up and running. Connect with IT to resolve issues on time to ensure no disruption.
  • Ensure billing thru ERP is always done accurately.
  • Ensure IT connectivity is always available at Terminals.
