Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
  • Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
  • Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
  • Supports design engineering in developing test applications and data processing for product development, programs for customer tools and production support.
  • Spends some time with our Senior Test Engineer to better understand the tools we use.
  • Works with the business unit to setup all production test stand files for non-standard part numbers, which will be inclusive of writing ECO's and tracking them through the system.
