Responsibilities

  • Analysis, implementation, support, and administration of benefits and retirement programs; including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PECNA employee inquiries related to benefits eligibility, coverage options, and claims resolution.
  • Works with key internal and external team members to analyze, assess and track the cost of various company-wide benefits programs to evaluate the efficiencies of plans, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Provide guidance to Benefits Administrator, Employee Services Support, and LOA team on escalated participant issues, life & disability claims, and other issues as identified.
  • Act as key subject matter expert in all areas of benefits for PECNA.
  • Conduct presentations and provide training and resources needed to communicate benefits plans for new hires or newly eligible enrollees.
  • Manage company specific annual open enrollment activities including system testing, project management and employee communications strategy in partnership with Corporate Communications/Mercer Communications and approval with Panasonic leadership.
  • Develop and deliver employee education and communication programs to promote participation and understanding of the 401(k) program.
  • Key HR stakeholder for the HRIS system for data integrity and reporting. Assists in conducting audits and analyzing results to identify root cause issues related to data accuracy.
  • Utilizes advanced analytical means to interpret data, generate insightful reports, and help draw meaningful conclusions to influence informed decision-making.
  • Maintains accurate records, SOP’s, and helps implement quality control measures to minimize errors and discrepancies.
  • Maintains compliance for employment laws, and most notably those related to benefits, and retirement functions.
  • Assists with supporting and communicating wellness program activities.
  • Manages annual wellness/benefit fairs at all PECNA sites.
