Responsibilities

  • Design, author and deliver training courses for transportation industry personnel as well as for personnel entering transportation-related fields
  • Create learning evaluation tools (e.g. tests, quizzes, surveys) and other training-related material for classes to include but not be limited to lecture notes, learning guides, supplemental resources related to the course
  • Work with customers to design specific courses to meet defined needs
  • Marketing of current and future classes to federal and commercial clients
  • Scheduling and arranging for the positioning of government owned assets such as motor vehicles and railroad equipment for use in training courses
  • Scheduling of instructors and role players to participate in training exercises
  • Oversight of production of printed material to be used in training courses
  • Coordination of ordering of supplies for training activities
  • Updating training records for attendees
  • Documenting course support activities with charge codes for entry into billing systems
  • Other duties as assigned
