Requirements

  • - Substantial experience of complex, infrastructure construction delivery leadership managing all phases from inception, to test, commission, and handover across the full range of project size and complexity
  • - Ability to create a deep understanding of client needs and requirements particularly commercial and operational opportunities
  • - Demonstrable experience of leadership and management of large, multi-disciplinary teams specialising in project management, design, and construction
  • - Ideally have professional affiliation (eg: RICS; APM; CIOB; RIBA, ICE or similar)
  • - Experience of value engineering/value management approaches and their use to deliver best value technical solutions

Responsibilities

  • - Lead a team accountable for delivering the construction and transition into operation of the Manchester Transformation Programme, our newly transformed Terminal 2.
  • - Lead an integrated team of MAG and consultant programme delivery professionals ensuring collaboration across all group support and local business functions.
  • - Ensure the safety of all individuals involved in the programme.
  • - Hold principal accountability for ensuring the quality of all briefing, scoping and requirements information that is prepared for and provided to engineering and design consultants/delivery partners.
  • - Promote, encourage, and support continuous development and improvement of individual and team capability throughout the programme.
  • - Deliver multiple infrastructure workstreams, including but not limited to; Airfield, Terminal Processor, Pier/Satellite, Baggage (arrivals and departures), Landside connectivity (including roads and forecourts) and Technology.
