What is the duration of the Trust Grade Registrar position?
The position is a fixed term contract.

What is the on-call schedule for this position?
The post holder will be working on a 1 in 8 resident on-call rota with prospective cover on a full shift pattern.

The registrar will be responsible for the pre and post-operative management of patient care in anaesthetics and critical care settings.
Is there a requirement for a Disclosure Check for this position?
Yes, this post requires a Disclosure Check with the Disclosure Barring Service due to access to children or vulnerable adults.

The registrar will be involved in a range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Day Case Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, and Dental & Maxillofacial surgery.
