Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in conceptual design work for master planning, urban design and architecture projects and develop from feasibility through to detail.
  • Develop visions for place making, creating new communities and the development of new cities.
  • Work across variety of sectors including mixed use, commercial, residential, hospitality, retail and education as part of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
  • Illustrate and present design solutions effectively through free hand sketching and computer aided design to convey intended vision to our clients including architectural design solutions.
  • Lead the submission of design work and related planning documentation including Design and Access Statements and Design Guidelines.
  • Lead thought leadership initiatives and research and share findings within the firm and externally with clients, potential clients and consultants.
  • Collaborate with design teams, clients, consultants, community stakeholders and other parties to meet overall project objectives.
  • Manage presentations and production of planning and urban design projects.
  • Liaise with clients, government agencies and project stakeholders requiring excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Work closely with Directors and project team to ensure timely delivery of high quality master planning and architecture projects within budget.
  • Inspire and promote collaboration across disciplines to spark innovation, motivate talent and support design experimentation across the office. Actively take ownership of problems and successful resolution planning in consultation with Urban Design leadership and Studio leader.
