Responsibilities

  • Use data analysis techniques to extract insights from customer & internal operational data, including inventory levels, order volumes, and cycle times, to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop appropriate and realistic warehouse solutions for new and existing customers to meet tender requirements, including:
  • Warehouse modelling & optimisation
  • Warehouse layout design
  • Resource modelling, including shift patterns, manager-to-operative ratios & MHE levels.
  • Proposal for automation
  • Warehouse process modelling of ‘what if’ scenarios to redesign and optimise warehouse processes by implementing industry best practices, automation, and technology.
  • Always ensure customer service levels meet customer and business expectations, providing timely and appropriate communication.
  • Build and maintain good team relationships with associated departments, ensuring a joined-up approach in all proposed solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehouse operations to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement proactively.
