Requirements

  • To be successful in your application for this role you will:
  • Have a strong background in delivering Cloud Finance system programmes- ideally Workday, however other solutions such SAP and Oracle Finance offerings will also be considered.
  • Have demonstrable experience of successfully delivering Finance ERP programmes of high complexity within large scale organisations
  • Have managed end-to-end programme lifecycles; from presales, scoping and planning through to post go live support/
  • Ideally have worked within a Consultancy environment, although other large scale business environments will be considered.
  • Have a strong understanding of Finance system functionality in line with business processes/functional areas including: Invoice to Cash (Receivables, Collection and Cash Management), Record to Report (General Ledger including Intercompany), Procure to Pay (Sourcing, Procurement, Payables and Payments), Acquire to Retire (Fixed Assets), Project to Result (Project Management and Project Accounting – Costing and Billing).
  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, manage expectations and challenge where necessary.
  • Have strong team management skills with demonstrable experience of managing teams of 10+
  • Recognise the importance of continuous self and team development and actively strives to achieve this.

Responsibilities

  • As part of this role you will be responsible for:
  • The end-to-end delivery of Workday Financials programmes. These programmes will differ in size, most likely starting in small to medium sized engagement and building up to potential International scale programmes.
  • Supporting in sales activities’ helping with the creation of SOW/RFPs, costing and scoping of programmes
  • Managing a mixture of onshore, offshore and third-party supplier teams in the delivery of Workday solutions to our clients
  • Ensuring documentation is created to allow technical teams to build effective solutions and managing those teams to drive successful delivery.
  • Exploring and driving efficiencies both in terms of programme delivery but also in relation to furthering functional knowledge of new Workday capabilities
  • Building strong and lasting relationships with stakeholders both within our client organisations and internal KPMG teams
  • Developing and coaching team members to drive progression and expansion within our practice.
  • Running and coordinating workshops and go-live activities
