Need a break from your studies? Wanna meet quirky people with the common interest of anime and manga? Then you've came to the right place.Welcome to the Anime and Manga Society.Join us for weekly screenings of both completed anime like 'One Punch Man' and ongoing seasonal shows, as well as movies such as 'Your Name' and 'A Silent Voice'. Unleash your inner otaku by singing your favourite anime songs in our monthly karaoke events (the worse you are, the better!!). Test your anime knowledge by taking part in team and/or individual quizzes for the chance to win some fabulous prizes. Familiarise yourself with the London anime scene by joining us on trips to conventions including 'MCM Comic Con' and 'Hyper Japan', and meeting anime fans from other London universities through intercollegiate events such as Maid Cafes.But more than anything else, simply come along and have fun meeting each other, whether you are near-fluent in Japanese from watching so much anime, or you have never watched anime since seeing Pokemon on TV ten years ago and are curious about these 'Chinese Cartoons'. Remember, fun things are fun! Membership We have a one time membership payment of £1.50. Purchasing a membership will allow you access to member benefits, such as discounts on trips to comic con. As a member, you'll get the opportunity to interact with likeminded anime fans and you'll also meet loads of like-minded, dedicated and awesome individuals that will become your friends for life.
