Archery… a sport that’s been around for a long time, ever watched a film like Lord of the Rings and think, Legolas is pretty awesome with that bow and arrow, that looks really cool! Well come and give QM Archery Club (QMAC) a go, as we cater for all of the different levels of archery. From “how do I hold this bow” to “Bullseye every time!”QM Archery Club (QMAC) aims to have you try out this dangerous sport you always wanted to try in a safe and friendly environment. We will provide you with all of the equipment you need and will help you improve yourself to become the next Green Arrow, Robin Hood or Katniss Everdeen. Taster SessionsWe are pleased to announce that sessions will resume as normal with our Freshers taster sessions running on both Thursday 28th of September and Friday 1st of October. If you are interested, drop by between 9am and 12pm. You do not need to stay for the whole time, come and go as you please :). Prior experience is NOT needed, we will teach you from scratch. Taster sessions will consist of fun and friendly shooting with equipment and coaching provided. Balloons will be shot!!!Training/SessionsTuesdays and Fridays* 9am - 12pm in Qmotion Sports Hall (enter through Qmotion entrance)All equipment is provided (unless you want to use your own). This includes bows (left and right handed), arrows, protective equipment and everything else you may need.CompetitionsQMAC compete in BUCS and South East Archery League. These are due to resume for the 2021/22 competition year.We also host informal tournaments throughout the year at QMotion (Mile End). Sign-up sheets for all competitions are released closer to the time.Coaching and TeachingQMAC has some coaches who are hoping to offer beginner's courses to smaller groups.
