Badminton Club (RUMS)

The club for medics who have reflexes and speed, combined with a love for rackets. Join us for socialising and friendly competitions in the fastest racket sport around. We accept all medics and non-medics who are up for playing competitively or just having fun! Beginners are very welcome to come along and play on courts provided with your membership - we also run a weekly development squad where team members can teach you techniques and how to play.We host weekly sports nights as well as other social events throughout the year, and strive to be a really friendly and inclusive club. Team members have the opportunity to play against other Universities in and around London, and we have a coach to help with team training.RUMS Badminton also have a developed educational side, holding extensive tutorials covering both pre-clinical and clinical content including mock OCAPE and OSCE exams for all year groups.We look forward to seeing you on court or in the bar!Social membership: £20Team membership: £40Your membership fee covers the court hire for the WHOLE year.
