navigation.about
UCL Iranian Society is a non-profit organisation and is not affiliated with any political or religious organisation. Our main aim is to encourage a greater sense of culture among students studying at UCL and to bring not only the UCL Iranian community but also other non-Iranian members together through various cultural, social, educational and charitable events - and COVID won't stop us! Normally, our events range from regular dinners, club nights, games nights, film nights, cultural talks and performances, networking opportunities, educational talks and our highly anticipated annual Norooz and Yalda celebrations! This year, to compensate for not being able to hold as many in-person events and activities, we will be integrating more virtual events and activities into our calendar. We plan to hold online cultural and educational talks, facilitate networking opportunities via virtual conferences and talks with guest speakers, host virtual film nights and organise virtual tournaments and online group games nights. We hope to organise as many in-person events as government guidelines would allow, as soon as possible. So if you’re Iranian or you would like to know more about Iran, you're in the right place! To find out more, find us on our social media: facebook and Instagram.Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ucliraniansociety/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ucliraniansociety/
