Optica Kent Student Chapter

Hello, and welcome to the webpage of the Optica Student Chapter at the University of Kent! Since 2011 we have been busy thinking (and implementing) interesting activities to engage the academic and local community into the world of Optics and Photonics. Among the activities that the Student Chapter organize are: Optics company visits. International conferences (Student-led)! Celebrate the International Day of Light. European Researcher Night. Outreach around Kent. Networking events. Moreover, you'll receive offers for PhD positions in Physics, mostly related to Optics. With the Optica membership, you'll receive two physical magazines in your house each month, and the most recent discoveries are commented on.
