Pharmacy Society

 KCL Pharmacy Society serves to entertain, to inform and to educate! We are open to everyone from all  years who are interested in anything drug related or just wants opportunities to socialise and meet some amazing people!  Want to be educated? We got module workshops, application crash-courses and even a  calculation drop-in clinic! Want to be informed? We got future speakers lined up for you, ranging from pharmaceutical industries, hospitals and academia, giving you an insight to all things pharmacy. Just want to party? We got you covered. We have amazing socials, such as our first ever boat party this year alongside our friends at Kingston and Medway. We also have bar crawls, and of course, our Annual Charity Ball which raises money for some amazing charities!  This year, we want to put an emphasis on increasing awareness. Therefore our charities of choice are the MS Society and Maa.  The Multiple Sclerosis Society, which carries out research for management of treatment, including the potential cure, for Multiple Sclerosis, and thus many other Autoimmune diseases closely related to it. The second charity we have chosen to support is Maa, the Maternal Aid Association, a relatively young charity, working hands on with mothers in third world countries, to ensure they are receiving the medical attention that they are entitled to, but often lack. We also do community projects in both primary and secondary schools to STEM interest and to inspire them to pursue a university degree.  So come join us today!
