Over half of the medics in training are women, however, men represent 66% of doctors on the specialist register. This society aims to inspire and mentor medical students to engage in all specialities and to establish greater equality amongst the medical community.We aim:to connect medical students with key role models through talks and workshops to encourage leadership and personal aspirations.to explore current issues and to highlight the valuable contributions of women within medicine and surgery.to build a supportive network between medical students of all genders through group discussion and social events with the potential to undertake projects together.This society encourages the participation of all genders without discrimination.
