Lastly, you enjoy working hard and celebrating hard, and you’d be shocked if guests weren’t positively impacted by their interactions with you.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This role is responsible for coordination, planning, and executing “Dark Day” Event Load – referred to as “Ancillary Events.”&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What you will do: (Responsibilities)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Coordinates, monitors, and supervises planning and execution of all arena events as assigned. Works closely with event operations team &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Creates facility maps using AutoCAD for events as assigned&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develops and builds Ancillary Events from production notes and other forms of communication. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Serves as direct communication link with internal teams, promoters, or other external clients involved representatives in event planning and execution.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ensures facility readiness and client satisfaction while maintaining arena's best interests and facility policies.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Approves event set-ups &amp;amp; associated logistics in the event booking program.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Coordinates and conducts site surveys for future events and attends event related meetings.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Manages relationships between the Arena and third-party sports teams, clients, promoters, partners etc. both verbally &amp;amp; in writing.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Conducts physical inspection of all areas of the arena to ensure correct set up and patron safety.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Interacts, as needed with customers, clients partners, Customer Service or other operating departments, to solve and resolving stressful conflicts in a time-critical manner.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Compose &amp;amp; disseminate event outlines and notices consisting of all event set up needs including venue access, parking, event security, housekeeping and food/beverage needs and show run times.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ability to deal with and manage eccentric/challenging personalities.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Assembles event costs for billing and settlement.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Other duties as assigned.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What we need from you: (Required Skills/Abilities) &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Must be a self-starter; able to work with minimal supervision and able to initiate work when needed.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Must be able to produce high level reports and analysis with accuracy and attention to detail.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ability to grasp concepts quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Must be highly organized and able to exercise good judgment in prioritizing work and balancing multiple tasks.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Must be able to maintain discretion and confidence as this position will have access to sensitive information.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Excellent written and communication skills.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Familiar with federal, state, and local grant application requirements and processes.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Familiar with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Education And Experience&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;High School diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Two years of experience in event management.
