You must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited program, have completed core coursework, be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D, and be ready for office and fieldwork conditions.

You will assist with reports, estimates, site visits, CAD drafting, and analyzing design documents while participating in project planning and design tasks.

  As a student intern, you’ll support a variety of civil engineering-related tasks, assist with project research, and conduct preliminary design calculations. You’ll assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation, and contribute to the development or maintenance of computer programs and systems. The student intern reports to the project manager.

  <li>Assist in the preparation of reports, cost estimates, and construction material quantities.</li>
  <li>Visit project sites as a member of the design team.</li>

  <li>Analyze and revise maps, charts, exhibits, diagrams, as-built maintenance records, and layouts for design projects.</li>
