Your Role 
 
The role of HR Intern is responsible for providing administrative support to the People team and ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries. The HR Intern will support daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, reports, processes and relevant documents. This role involves working in a variety of areas, notably within compensation, benefits, recruitment, learning and development and organisational culture. 
 
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to progress their career in HR and has an interest in learning and development as well as interested in broadening their knowledge and experience and preparing the business and its people for the next stage of growth. 4 months full time paid internship. 
 
The team 
 
The current team consists of one senior manager, one manager and an intern. 
 
Responsibilities 
 
<ul><li>Supporting the People team to facilitate future growth, including the effect on organisational structure, culture, reward, talent management and working practices.
</li></ul><ul><li>Working proactively with the People team, business and line managers to help them achieve results through their people plans.
</li></ul>Proactively coordinating effective staff communication both formal and informal, and across countries.

Day-to-day responsibilities 
 
<ul><li>Create, amend and distribute HR documentation.
</li></ul><ul><li>Update new joiner manuals, and internal HR documentation.
</li></ul><ul><li>Keeping Company Org Charts up to date.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with enrolling and updating employees with benefit providers. Enrolling new joiners on benefit schemes, and ensuring they are removed when they leave the firm.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assisting with management of pension providers, ensuring employees are enrolled on the scheme.
</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate new joiner check in reviews i.e 30 day, 90 day check-ins, and probation review meetings.
</li></ul><ul><li>Drafting of documentation as needed by the People team, e.g. employment contracts, probation letters, contract extension letters, addendums, etc;
</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain internal databases and trackers.
</li></ul><ul><li>Close collaboration with the Finance team to provide monthly payroll updates (e.g. onboarding documents, leavers, joiners and holiday balances).
</li></ul><ul><li>Support People team with all stages of the employee lifecycle process from when an employee joins the firm to them leaving (e.g. onboarding, promotions, maternity/paternity, exit interview, etc).
</li></ul><ul><li>Create onboarding schedules for new joiners, coordinate induction meetings, and compile new joiner biographies.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with any employee gift or voucher orders and organising team events and birthdays.

Your Role
