Paralegal

You should have office experience, banking software skills, confidence in Excel, strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules is a plus.

You will manage finance mailboxes, process write-offs, handle fee earner code changes, download bank statements, reconcile invoices, and post expenses while ensuring data accuracy.

Our Finance Team is a growing team of 30 staff who sit alongside our Credit Control and Reporting departments.

As a Finance Administration Assistant your day to day remit includes:

<li>Write offs</li>
<li>Changing Fee Earner codes on matters where the Fee Earner has left</li>
<li>Downloading monthly bank statements</li>
<li>Reviewing and closing zero balance files with undertakings</li>
<li>Client to office transfers for large supplier payments</li>
<li>Support with reconciling and paying supplier invioices</li>
<li>Posting anticipated disbursements and general expenses and posting licensing fees</li>
<li>Cheque Cover and Accounts Receivable Cover</li>
<li>Data cleansing and changing bank codes</li></ul>

<ul><li>Have previous experience of working within a busy office</li>

<li>Be confident in Microsoft office applications, specifically excel</li>

<li>Have strong communication skills</li>
<li>Be able to think laterally to solve problems within an evolving finance team</li>
